TikTok Brings Its LIVE Community Fest to Bangkok and Puts Creator Networks in the Spotlight
· 2 min read · Compiled from 2 public sources

On 25 August 2026 TikTok held its LIVE Community Fest at True Icon Hall in ICONSIAM, Bangkok. According to Philstar's report, the event brought together more than 300 LIVE creators from across Southeast Asia and Central Asia under the theme “Be Part of the Win”. The gala recognised more than 30 of them in three tiers, Legend, Platinum and Gold, with Legend the highest.
Why Bangkok
Southeast Asia is where livestream commerce has moved from novelty to habit. SocialDay's September analysis, citing Momentum Works, reports that Southeast Asia now supplies roughly 70% of TikTok Shop's global sales, and that livestream-related commerce is especially strong in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. SocialDay presents these as its own summary of third-party figures, so they are best read as indicative rather than audited.
Creator networks as the new MCNs
The detail most relevant to anyone tracking MCNs is TikTok's own framing. SocialDay quotes Claire Li, TikTok's Head of LIVE Creator Networks, Product and Strategy, on the aim of giving creators “the operational foundations, practical guidance, and trusted local support they need to build thriving communities”.
SocialDay also reports TikTok figures showing more than 21,000 Creator Networks supporting roughly 4.7 million TikTok LIVE creators worldwide, with Southeast Asia accounting for about a quarter of the networks and a third of network-affiliated creators. It adds that overall Creator Network revenue grew 1.8 times. SocialDay says TikTok views these networks as business incubators, training centres and strategic partners, and concludes that “Creator Networks are becoming the new MCNs”.
What it means for Thailand's agencies and creators
This section is MCN Thailand's reading. A platform-run Creator Network can be a new revenue line for an established MCN or agency, and a route into structured support for a creator who has outgrown going it alone. It also ties the network's fortunes to one platform's rules. SocialDay itself flags platform concentration as a structural risk in the region and notes government friction with TikTok in Thailand in 2024.
Creators weighing a network can ask a few plain questions. Which platforms does it cover, and what happens if one changes its terms? What does the network take, and what does it provide in return? Is there an exclusivity clause? The answers matter more than the tier a gala places anyone in.
A note on the numbers
Philstar's account of the event is first-hand reporting. The network and sales figures come from a secondary analysis that attributes them to TikTok and Momentum Works without linking the underlying data. MCN Thailand will revisit them if TikTok or Momentum Works publishes the source material.
